The following is a How-to Guide to adding and setting up a 3rd party Vendor. This is for a Host Upsell, meaning you the Host will be in charge of coordinating, fulfilling, and paying for this Upsell. This assumes you know how to set-up your Upsells. For more information and an in-depth how-to guide, please see our “What is a Host Upsell?” page.

Step 1: Access the Upsell Product Page

  • Log in to your Frontdesk account.

  • Navigate to the Upsells page.

  • Select an existing Upsell by click on the title of the Upsell or

  • Create a new one, by clicking "+Create Upsell"

For a detailed guide on setting up your own Host Upsell, please see "What is a Host Upsell?"

Step 2: Enter Vendor Details

  • Scroll to "Additional Details"

  • In "3rd Party Vendor" you can:

    • Click the search bar to look for an existing vendor.

    • If the vendor appears, select it to link it to the upsell product.

Step 3: Manually Add a 3rd Party Vendor

  • If the vendor is not listed, click “+ Add Manually”.

  • Fill in the required details:

    • Name of the vendor

    • City, State, and Zip Code

    • Phone Number

    • Email Address

Step 4: Finalize the Vendor Setup

  • Ensure all information is accurate.

  • Once added, the vendor details will be saved automatically.

  • Click the "Done" button to exit the editing screen.

Step 5: Review & Manage Your Vendor Listings

  • The added 3rd Party Vendor will now be linked to the upsell product.

  • You can edit or update vendor details at any time from the Upsell Product section.

  • Guests will be able to see and book services associated with the vendor.

Please keep in mind if you set up an Upsell like this, you will be responsible for coordinating and fulfilling all goods and services between the vendor, your guests, and yourself.

How do I Price my 3rd Party Vendor Upsell?

Because this is a Host Upsell, remember there will be a 10% transaction fee. Please price accordingly so that you and your Vendor are happy with the pay!

When Should I Create a 3rd Party Vendor Upsell?

This is ideal when you have a Vendor in mind, that Frontdesk might not know about. If you have a local chef you know who does private catering, a musician you love who would want to do a show for your guests, or even a local florist you love.
